Share your story!  Help us celebrate the 5^th Annual Disability Awareness Day event by sharing your story with a picture or illustration.  This year we are utilizing the power of storytelling through written and spoken word, art imagery, and movement to help raise awareness.  Please attend one of our monthly workshops.  All ages and abilities welcome!

If you cannot make it to a workshop please submit your story online at www.worldwedream.org or drop off your contribution in person at 146 S 10th Street, San Jose, CA 95125.

   

PURPOSE

The Friends of Grace Community Center  (Friends of Grace) is a non-profit organization, whose primary purpose is to promote and develop a wider public interest and appreciation of rehabilitative, social, educational, and therapeutic recreation services for adults with mental illness and developmental disabilities, as provided by Grace Community Center.  Through fundraising, public education, and advocacy, the Friends of Grace help to support these quality services, thus increasing the quality of life for all who attend Grace Community Center.
