We are currently looking for community artists of all ages and abilities to collaborate in the creation of 3 large-scale Unity Birds to be "flown" in downtown San Jose and "perched" in the Rotunda at City Hall in honor and celebration of the 3rd annual Disability Awareness Day.  Please contact us if you or someone you know would like to help sponsor this project and/or participate in the art making!  We are also looking for volunteers to accompany the Unity Birds in a precession to City Hall.

In honor of El Camino's Mental Health Week, Grace will be exhibiting art work throughout the main hospital. Visit to see the work of our member artists and our community quilt on display. El Camino will have daily presentations related to mental health, and GCC has been invited to present on Tuesday May 4 at 5:00pm about our new Artist in Residence Program and upcoming art opening at The Art & Wellness Studio on May 7, 2010.
